THE ARBOREALS NFT PROJECT WHITEPAPER
The Arboreals Project: A New Vision for NFTs and Nature
Vision and Mission: Preserving, Celebrating, and Living the Forest
The overarching vision of Arboreals is to create a distinctive, membership-based community committed to the preservation and celebration of forests. Our mission is multifaceted—connecting people with nature, fostering a community through art, and driving sustainable living. By starting with our existing 100-acre sustainable tree farm in Rhode Island, we’re setting a blueprint for developing similar, nature-immersed properties worldwide. Each estate is not just a location but a living, breathing testament to our commitment to sustainability and community.

Connection with Nature and Art: Crafting Intimate and Expansive Experiences
Art within Arboreals serves as a bridge between the natural and the human imagination. Drawing inspiration from the forest’s unpredictable pattern play and controlled chaos, the project’s art collection showcases a diverse range of styles, all echoing the magical realism of the woods. From the 1-1 OG collection of tree-people to the generative phase 2 collection of forest denizens, each piece is a narrative, a dialogue between the artist and the forest.
Technology as a Conduit for Connection
The technological integration extends into the very heart of the forest, where an outdoor gallery melds the digital with the physical. Here, NFT art comes alive through AR frames, and physical sculptures are interwoven with sensors, cameras, and interactive elements. These technological touchpoints allow NFT holders to engage with the art and the forest in a profoundly personal, interactive manner, bridging the gap between the digital and the natural realms.
In keeping with Arboreals’ commitment to sustainability, the technological footprint is meticulously designed to be minimally invasive, ensuring the forest’s vitality while maximizing human engagement. The project’s sustainability narrative unfolds further in initiatives like automated mushroom cultivation rooms and sustainable agroforestry practices, symbolizing a harmonious, symbiotic relationship between technology, humanity, and the forest.

Arboreal Token
Token Generation
Token Utility
Non-web3-native members and non-members will all have the ability to use tokens as well, through a seemless web2 front end interface where they can purchase and redeem webstore credits in order to get discounts on product sales. webstore credits are linked on the back-end to tokens. As the total tokens available will be capped, any credits purchased through the web2 interface and subsequently burned will be deflationary in nature.
While there may be an external secondary market for our tokens, this is not something that we are planning or something that we will intentionally control. The value of an Arboreal token in our ecosystem as it related to the real USD value of benefits will be measured and set on a monthly or quarterly basis, with the expectation of balancing supply and demand.
regular redemption of tokens is expected to offset token generation and ensure that the supply does not become inflated.
